  • A PILOT CAR is required for vehicles that exceed any of the following:

    1. Width: 12 feet or greater in width

    2. Length: greater than 95 feet in length

    3. Load Overhang: greater than 10 feet or as determined by inspection of the load

  • AN OVER-LIMIT PERMIT is required on vehicles, including the load thereon, exceeding the maximum dimensions of 13 feet, nine inches in height, eight feet, six inches in width and 75 feet in length. A permit is required for each trip.

  • WEST VIRGINIA STATE LAW requires all front seat passengers to wear a seat belt. Passengers in the back seat under 18 years of age must also wear seat belts.
